An easy way to find out if your web pages have been indexed by Google is to type site:www.YourWebSite.com into the Google search box.

The search results will show you all of your website's pages that Google has indexed.

Want to find out how many web pages have links on their web pages that link to your website? These are called back links and they are easy to find by typing in link:YourWebSite.com into the Google search box.

Generally speaking all the back links will not be shown because many search engine experts state that only the links from web pages with a Page Rank (PR) of 4 or higher will show in the results for the search.

To get an even better idea of how many websites link to your website, try using this command YourWebSite.com -site:www.YourWebSite.com. This will show you all the web pages that have links to your website without including your website's internal links.
